This 19th edition will be a collaboration among volunteers, chapters and user groups, and the hub of the Central and Eastern Europe region. Wikimania 2024 will happen on 7–10 August 2024 in Katowice, Poland

Wikimania is the annual conference celebrating all the free knowledge projects hosted by the Wikimedia FoundationCommons Wikimedia Commons, MediaWiki MediaWiki, Meta-Wiki Meta-Wiki, Wikibooks Wikibooks, Wikidata Wikidata, Wikinews Wikinews, Wikipedia Wikipedia, Wikiquote Wikiquote, Wikisource Wikisource, Wikispecies Wikispecies, Wikiversity Wikiversity, Wikivoyage Wikivoyage, Wiktionary Wiktionary – with days of conferences, discussions, meetups, training, and workshops. Hundreds of volunteers and Free Knowledge leaders from around the world gather to discuss issues, report on new projects and approaches, and exchange ideas.
