Wikimania 2024 Programming Call for Proposals

We are now reviewing the proposals. We will communicate decisions about proposals starting in May.

About Wikimania

Wikimania 2024 will take place on 7–10 August 2024 in Katowice, Poland. This 19th edition will be a collaboration among volunteers, chapters and user groups, and the hub of the Central and Eastern Europe region.

Wikimania is the annual conference celebrating all the free knowledge projects hosted by the Wikimedia FoundationCommons Wikimedia Commons, MediaWiki MediaWiki, Meta-Wiki Meta-Wiki, Wikibooks Wikibooks, Wikidata Wikidata, Wikifunctions Wikifunctions, Wikinews Wikinews, Wikipedia Wikipedia, Wikiquote Wikiquote, Wikisource Wikisource, Wikispecies Wikispecies, Wikiversity Wikiversity, Wikivoyage Wikivoyage, and Wiktionary Wiktionary – with days of conferences, discussions, meetups, training, and workshops. Hundreds of volunteers and Free Knowledge leaders from around the world gather to discuss issues, report on new projects and approaches, and exchange ideas.
